  • Avoid Sun Exposure: Keep your eyebrows out of direct sunlight and avoid tanning beds for at least two weeks to prevent fading.
  • Don’t Pick or Scratch: Let any scabs or flaking occur naturally; picking can lead to scarring or loss of pigment.

  • Protect from Swelling: Apply an ice pack for 15 minutes if there is swelling.
  • Keep Clean: Rinse lips with warm water after meals and keep the area clean. Do not wash with soap four 4 days.
  • Avoid Water Exposure: Try to keep your lips dry for the first few days. Avoid swimming, saunas, and excessive sweating.
  • Avoid Certain Products: Do not apply cleanser cream, makeup, or exfoliation products to the area.

  • Sun Protection: Keep your lips out of direct sunlight for at least a month. Use a lip balm with SPF after the initial healing period.
  • Be Patient: The color will lighten and darken over the first two months. The true color will develop by the third month.
